On February 1st, Grzegorz Kwiatkowski will be a guest at the University of Western Ontario.
“Grzegorz Kwiatkowski is a Polish poet, author and musician. His poetry and books revolve around the subjects of history, remembrance, and ethics. During the meeting, Grzegorz will discuss his poetry, which deals with the topic of tragic history. What are effective methods of describing the brutal and complicated past without entering the territory of aestheticization and kitsch? Can you protest using poetry? Can poetry change reality? These are just some of the questions we will ask.”
