Grzegorz Kwiatkowski will be a guest of the Forum for Dialogue. The event “Zoom in on the Forum: The Memory of Jewish Gdansk” moderated by Hanna Gospodarczyk will take place on November 15.
“Next Wednesday, November 15th, we will have a chance to learn more about the pre-war Jewish community of Gdansk (German: Danzig), a historic seaside city in Poland with centuries-long history of Jewish residence. We invited Grzegorz Kwiatkowski, an artist and activist, who has been trying to raise awareness of the city’s local Holocaust history for years, to talk about the memory of the community as well as the strategies and the challenges of the current commemorations of the Gdansk Jews. Join us on Wednesday, November 15th, at 3 am Australian Eastern, 10 am Pacific, 12 pm Central, 1 pm Eastern, 7 pm Warsaw, 8 pm Tel-Aviv time to talk about the commemoration of Gdansk Jews.”
