Grzegorz Kwiatkowski just joined the great association PEN America.

Gdańsk, Poland’s Trupa Trupa just released their new album B FLAT A, that, according to frontman Grzegorz Kwiatkowski, explores “the wasteland of human nature where hatred and genocide are not just distant reverberations of Central European history but still resonate in contemporary reality,” and does so via visceral komische and post-punk inspired rock. You can listen to the whole album below.
Polish band Trupa Trupa will release new album B Flat A on February 11 and they’ve just shared the very well-shot video for new single “Uniforms.” The song starts as airy indie rock but devolves into a good bit of noisy fun by the end.
The great writer Cynthia Zarin talks about “Crops”:
“In these searing, darkly beautiful, indelible poems, Kwiatkowski reminds us of what, at our peril, we must not forget.”
