“Well, I love Trupa Trupa, a band out of Poland. ‘B Flat A’ is the name of their new album, number six on my list. I have loved this band for a number of years. I’ve seen them live. I thought they were incredible. In the spirit of East European Velvet Underground inspired music, underground music, Plastic People of the Universe being, maybe not an influence but certainly a corollary there, in terms of the kind of sound they put out, and a kind of topicality. There’s a philosophical underpinning here.”
