„Najnowszy tomik Grzegorza Kwiatkowskiego – Sową pozostaje w ścisłej relacji z poprzednimi zbiorami poety, takimi jak Radości (2013) czy Spalanie (2015). W składającym się z dwudziestu dwóch wierszy Sową pojawiają się dobrze znane z twórczości Kwiatkowskiego obrazy tajemniczego ojca, ofiar przemocy oraz oprawców. Z jednej strony wskazują one na istotne z perspektywy poety tematy i problemy, z drugiej każą widzieć w jego dorobku spójną całość, której nadrzędnym celem jest przepracowywanie i oswajanie traum cudzej, ale i w jakiejś mierze własnej przeszłości.
