Recenzja EP – Triangle Music Collective
I’ve been corresponding with Grzegorz Kwiatkowski, singer and guitarist of Polish post-punk-art-psych outfit Trupa Trupa for a few years now. I was feeling pretty down last week (and maybe it seeped into my column (okay, it did)), and I told Grzegorz a bit about some of the stuff that was bothering me. He had the most helpful and reassuring reply.

Po&Sie
Debiut literacki we Francji w magazynie Po&Sie. Ostatnią część trylogii, czyli tom Sową na język francuski przetłumaczył Zbigniew Naliwajek i Guillaume Métayer.
Grzegorz Kwiatkowski (1984) habite à Gdansk. Il est poète et membre (chanteur et parolier) de « Trupa Trupa » (jeu de mots sur les mots polonais désignant une troupe et un cadavre), un groupe psychédélique post-punk qui a réussi à sortir des frontières de la Pologne pour attirer l’attention des scènes et des journaux internationaux. À ce jour, Grzegorz Kwiatkowski a publié six livres de poèmes : Przeprawa [Passage, 2008], Eine Kleine Todesmusik [2009], Osłabić [Affaiblir, 2010], Radości [Joie, 2013], Spalanie [Combustion, 2015], et enfin Sową [Par un hibou, 2017], dont nous publions ici quelques extraits, dans la traduction de Zbigniew Naliwajek. Tous ces ouvrages ont paru dans la maison d’édition Biuro Literackie, fondée en 1996 et qui s’est imposée, en particulier, dans la publication de la poésie en Pologne. Les poèmes de Grzegorz Kwiatkowski se placent sous l’inspiration d’Edgar Lee Masters, en particulier sa Spoon river Anthology, inspirée par l’Anthologie grecque. Le poète américain donnait voix aux anonymes pour faire ressortir la réalité de leur condition, exhiber ainsi le revers de l’hypocrisie puritaine. Kwiatkowski donne la parole aux bourreaux et aux victimes de la Shoah sous la forme d’un apocalyptique montage audio qui, par son mélange de simplicité et d’horreur, rend réel l’indicible.
